Open to general publicMonday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.        For those needing health and medical services including: adult child pregnancy women's health family planning nutrition (WIC) communicable diseases(STD-HIV-AIDS, dental services, chronic disease care,prescription assistance and lab work) Primary health care clinics for low income persons services provided on a sliding fee scale. Free services for persons with income below poverty, Medicaid and Medicare accepted. Anyone is eligible who has substantial difficulty in affording private medical care. HEALTH EDUCATION Works with schools, community and area businesses to develop health education and wellness promotion programs. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH Issue permits for and conduct compliance inspections for food service, group care, pools, mobile home parks, septic systems, drinking water systems, indoor air quality and other environmental health issues. Investigates health hazards and nuisances complaints. VITAL STATISTICS Birth and death certificates for an established fee.
